The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, Obi Aguocha, has commended the youths of Umuawa Alaocha Community in Umuahia North Local Government Area for their bravery and determination which led to the successful rescue of two persons who were reportedly abducted by suspected herdsmen terrorists while working on their farmland.
In a statement issued following the rescue operation, Aguocha expressed profound relief over the safe return of the victims to their families after an ordeal that had generated widespread concern and anxiety within the community and across the constituency. He described the development as a victory for collective vigilance and community resilience against criminal activities.
The federal lawmaker paid glowing tribute to the youths of Umuawa Alaocha, applauding their courage, unity, and unwavering commitment to protecting their community. According to him, their swift response and determination played a significant role in securing the freedom of the abducted victims and demonstrated the strength of community solidarity in confronting security challenges.
