International business man, stakeholder and supporter of the Labour Party-led administration in Abia State, Hon. Onyekwere Akym Uche (OAU), has congratulated Dr Alex Otti on the third anniversary of his administration, describing the past three years as a period of impactful governance, visible transformation, and renewed hope for the people of Abia State.
In a statement commemorating the milestone, Onyekwere Akym Uche praised Gov. Otti for what he termed visionary leadership, prudent management of resources, and a strong commitment to rebuilding critical sectors of the state economy and public infrastructure.
According to him, the administration has continued to distinguish itself through policies and programmes that have restored public confidence in governance and repositioned Abia on the path of sustainable growth and development.
He noted that before the emergence of the current administration, many residents had lost faith in the capacity of government to deliver meaningful development, but maintained that Gov Otti’s leadership style has changed the narrative through deliberate reforms and people-oriented governance.
OAU further commended the administration for improvements recorded in road infrastructure, environmental sanitation, healthcare delivery, education, urban renewal, and civil service reforms, stressing that the visible changes across different parts of the state reflect purposeful leadership driven by competence and accountability.
He stated that the achievements recorded within three years have strengthened the confidence of Abians in the Labour Party administration and inspired optimism about the future of the state.
“Abians can now see and feel the impact of governance. The ongoing transformation across the state is evidence that sincere leadership can truly change society for the better. Gov. Alex Otti has shown uncommon dedication to the service of the people, and there is no doubt that greater days lie ahead for Abia State,” he stated.
The founder of the OAU foundation also applauded the governor for promoting transparency and fiscal discipline in the management of public resources, adding that such qualities have contributed significantly to the growing support and acceptance enjoyed by the administration across the state.
He urged Abians to continue supporting the government in its efforts to consolidate ongoing reforms and developmental projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the people and attracting more investments into the state.
Akym expressed confidence that the administration would achieve even greater milestones in the coming years, emphasizing that the journey toward rebuilding Abia requires collective commitment, unity, and sustained cooperation among citizens and political leaders.
