Isuikwuato, Abia State| March 4, 2026 —
The member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State, Alex Chioma Otti, for the successful completion of the Amune–Obilohia Ovim–Ezere Junction Road in Isuikwuato Local Government Area.
In a statement issued to newsmen, Hon. Johnson described the delivery of the road project as a landmark achievement that reflects his and Gov Otti’s unwavering commitment to infrastructure renewal and rural transformation.
The lawmaker futher disclosed that the realization of the project followed sustained advocacy and legislative engagement on his part. He explained that he attracted the road project through persistent representation and ensured its inclusion in the state budget, a move that paved the way for its eventual execution. According to him, strategic collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government made the delivery possible. Johnson also noted that the project has brought long-awaited relief to residents and road users who had endured years of hardship due to the deplorable condition of the road.
