Prince Obinna Ejebi (Nzesinachi), has called on Abians to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Alex Otti, warning against what he described as verbal attacks and deliberate misinformation from opposition political elements seeking to distract the current administration from its reform agenda.
Speaking against the backdrop of recent political rhetoric targeted at the governor, Ejebi frowned at the tone and intent of the criticisms, noting that they were not rooted in genuine concern for the state but driven by desperation and fear of good governance. He urged residents of Abia State to critically assess the motives behind such attacks and to stand firmly with an administration that has, in his words, “clearly demonstrated commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-oriented leadership.”
According to Ejebi, Gov Otti’s leadership has ushered in a new era of infrastructural renewal across the state, with visible improvements in road construction, urban renewal, public facilities, and service delivery.
He noted that these developments have begun to restore public confidence in governance and reposition Abia as a state focused on sustainable growth and long-term planning.
“Abians can see the difference for themselves,” Ejebi said. “This administration has chosen action over propaganda. Roads that were abandoned for decades are being rebuilt, public infrastructure is receiving attention, and governance is now driven by competence and prudence rather than political noise.”
Nzesinachi further described Gov Otti as a leader who has shown uncommon discipline in managing public resources, stressing that such qualities naturally unsettle those who thrived under the old order. He argued that the current verbal attacks should be seen as evidence that meaningful reforms are taking place.
“When political Demagogues feel threatened, they resort to insults and false narratives,” Ejebi stated.
“But Abians must not be deceived. This is a governor who has shown quality leadership, courage, and sincerity of purpose in steering Abia away from waste and stagnation.”
He also appealed to community leaders, youth groups, and civil society actors to defend truth and progress by speaking out against misinformation. According to him, protecting the governor does not mean blind loyalty but standing up for facts, fairness, and the collective interest of the state.
“Protecting your governor is protecting Abia’s future,” Ejebi added. “It means rejecting politics of sabotage and embracing leadership that delivers results. We must not allow selfish interests to derail the momentum of development currently being witnessed across the state.”
Ejebi concluded by urging Abians to remain united, vigilant, and focused on the broader goal of rebuilding the state, emphasizing that history will favor those who chose progress over politics and substance over noise.
