Isuikwuato Women Honor Lucky Johnson, Present Outstanding Selfless Service Award

Women across Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State on Sunday honoured the member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, with an Outstanding Selfless Service Award in recognition of his contributions to community development and support for faith based initiatives.
The recognition was part of activities held across churches in the constituency to celebrate women and acknowledge their vital role in family life, community building, and spiritual development. The day’s celebration drew women groups, church leaders, and community members who gathered in fellowship, prayers, and thanksgiving.
The lawmaker began the day’s activities with a church service at St Charles Methodist Church Nigeria in Umuasua, his home community. During the service, congregants offered praises and thanksgiving to God while also celebrating the resilience, dedication, and contributions of women within the church and the wider community.

Later in the day, the legislator attended a service at St Emmanuel Anglican Church, also in Umuasua, where the women of the church presented him with the Outstanding Selfless Service Award. According to church leaders, the recognition was in appreciation of his commitment to God’s work, his support for church initiatives, and his efforts in promoting human development within the constituency.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson expressed gratitude to the women and the church leadership for the recognition, describing the award as both humbling and encouraging. He reaffirmed his commitment to continued service to God and humanity, noting that leadership is most meaningful when it positively impacts the lives of the people.

The Isuikwuato Rep also worshipped at Christ Ascension Church in Ovim, where he joined members of the congregation in prayers for the wellbeing and success of women across the constituency. Special prayers were offered for God’s guidance and strength to enable women thrive in their various roles within the family and society.
As part of his support for the church and the women’s initiatives, the legislator donated bags of cement to assist ongoing projects aimed at improving church facilities and supporting community development efforts. The gesture was warmly received by the congregation, who commended his dedication to service and his continued support for faith driven community advancement in Isuikwuato.
