International business man, philanthropist and Politician, Hon. Onyekwere Akym Uche (OAU), has called for sustained efforts toward empowering women and creating more opportunities that enable them to flourish in society. He made this call while commemorating International Women's Day, a day set aside globally to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, OAU paid glowing tribute to the women of Abia North and beyond, describing them as pillars of strength whose courage, dedication, and industrious spirit continue to shape families, communities, and the wider society.
