Hon. Obi Aguocha, the Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and Umuahia South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has warmly welcomed his constituents to the year 2026, offering prayers for good health, peace, and collective progress across communities in the constituency.
He described the new year as a season of renewed hope, reflection, and recommitment to purposeful leadership and people-centered representation.
In his New Year message, Aguocha expressed deep appreciation to constituents for their steadfast support, resilience, and continued engagement with his office. He noted that the trust reposed in him remains a strong motivation to pursue legislative initiatives and advocacy that reflect the aspirations of the people.
“As we step into 2026, I warmly welcome my constituents and pray for God’s protection, good health, and abundant blessings upon every family,” Aguocha said.
“May this new year strengthen our collective resolve to work together for the progress and unity of our constituency and our dear nation.”
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of collective effort in driving development, stressing that meaningful progress is achieved when citizens and leaders collaborate with a shared sense of purpose. He urged constituents to remain hopeful and proactive in contributing to the growth of their communities despite prevailing challenges.
“Our strength as a people lies in our unity and willingness to support one another,” Aguocha stated.
