The Executive Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Dr Anthony Nzeribe Nwaubani, FCA, FCIB, has welcomed the people of Ikwuano and Abia State to the month of November 2026, describing it as the beginning of a new phase of sustainability, consolidation of developmental achievements and higher prospects for the state.
In his November goodwill message, the Mayor expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to witness another month, while extending warm greetings and best wishes to residents of Ikwuano and Abians at large. He noted that the beginning of a new month offers an opportunity for reflection, appreciation of God's faithfulness and renewed commitment to building a prosperous, inclusive and progressive society.
Nwaubani particularly described November as a significant period that would usher in activities aimed at consolidating the achievements of the administration of Gov. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, and translating the gains of good governance into sustainable development and higher standards of living for the people of Abia State.
He commended Gov Otti for creating an enabling environment for development across the state, expressing optimism that the administration's people-oriented policies and ongoing interventions would continue to produce meaningful and lasting benefits for Abians.
The Mayor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to complementing the developmental vision of the state government through impactful grassroots initiatives designed to improve the welfare of residents, empower young people, strengthen communities and expand opportunities for sustainable economic prosperity.
According to him, the collective determination of the government and the people remains essential to achieving enduring development, stressing that unity, cooperation and shared responsibility would provide the foundation for greater accomplishments in Ikwuano.
He further prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, opportunities and abundant blessings for residents in the new month, expressing hope that their individual and collective aspirations would receive favourable outcomes, while peace, progress and prosperity continue to flourish across communities.
The Ikwuano Mayor concluded his message by wishing the people a fulfilling and prosperous November, expressing confidence in the prospects of a new beginning anchored on sustainability, continuity of good governance and higher developmental achievements for Abia State.
