Hon. Barr. Kelechi Anderson Akaliro, Member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has been honoured with the prestigious Royal Ambassador Award by the Men’s Ministry of Assemblies of God Church, Umuawa Alaocha, Abia State.
The distinguished recognition was conferred on Akaliro during the church’s Fathers’ Day Celebration held on September 14, 2026, in appreciation of his contributions to community development, commitment to public service and positive impact on the lives of people within and beyond his constituency.
In presenting the honour, the church described Akaliro as a “Silent Achiever”, acknowledging his disposition to service and his preference for allowing his accomplishments and community engagements to speak for themselves. The recognition was presented as an expression of appreciation for his dedication, leadership and demonstrated commitment to the welfare and advancement of his constituents and the wider community.
The award presentation was formally conducted by His Royal Majesty, Eze Abel Ogbonna Ezechukwu, Okpara Awa, who personally handed the prestigious award to Akaliro. The royal presentation added significance to an occasion that brought together members of the church and other stakeholders to celebrate fatherhood, faith, leadership and responsible service to society.
In response, Hon. Barr. Akaliro Kelechi Anderson received the award with humility and expressed profound gratitude to the Men’s Ministry and the entire Assemblies of God Church, Umuawa Alaocha, for considering him worthy of the distinguished recognition. He appreciated the church for its prayers, encouragement and continued support, stressing the value of such recognition in strengthening his commitment to service.
