The Alubarika Movement, a socio-political group loyal to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ajibola Basiru, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the APC, saying he will deliver more democratic dividends.
The group described Tinubu’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership, political experience and commitment to Nigeria’s growth and unity.
In a statement shared with our correspondent on Friday by its Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, the movement said Tinubu’s emergence had further strengthened the aspiration for sustainable development, inclusive governance and national transformation under the APC.
The group noted that it was operating under the leadership and guidance of Basiru, adding that its core agenda remained the promotion of progressive governance, democratic stability and the Renewed Hope vision.
The statement read partly, “The leadership and entire members of the ALUBARIKA Movement heartily congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his emergence as the Presidential Flag Bearer of the All Progressives Congress.
This historic development once again reflects the overwhelming confidence reposed in his visionary leadership, political experience, and unwavering commitment to the growth, unity, and progress of Nigeria.”
The movement also commended the National Working Committee of the APC for what it described as transparency, steadfastness and dedication during the primary process.
It said the conduct of the exercise demonstrated the party’s internal strength, unity and democratic culture.
The group further congratulated party leaders, stakeholders and members across the country for their participation and maturity throughout the process.
It reaffirmed its loyalty to the APC and pledged continued support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
