Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, the Member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has extended warm New Year greetings to his constituents, describing the beginning of the year as a moment for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to service.
He urged Abians to embrace hope, unity, and collective responsibility as they step into the new year.
In his New Year message, Akaliro thanked the people for their continued support, prayers, and confidence in his leadership, noting that their encouragement has remained a strong motivation in his legislative duties. He emphasized that the new year presents an opportunity to strengthen the bond between leadership and the people, anchored on trust and accountability.
“As we welcome the New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings to my constituents and wish every family good health, peace, and prosperity,” Akaliro said.
“This is a time to renew our faith in God, recommit ourselves to positive values, and work together for the progress of our constituency and Abia State at large.”
The lawmaker reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to legislative excellence, stressing that he would continue to prioritize laws and motions that directly improve the welfare of the people. He noted that effective representation goes beyond the Assembly floor and includes constant engagement with constituents to understand their needs and aspirations.
